We can do this typically over the telephone, where I tell you a little bit about our company and our services, learn a little bit about your situation and then offer up some tips on how we can help you with obtaining the best loan for you.
Getting pre-qualified should not be confused with the term “pre-approved” First and foremost, no lender is ever going to fully approve you until they have the opportunity to examine the property that you wish to purchase. Obviously this is not possible until you actually go shopping for, and find a home.
Secondly, most banks do not actually look at your information until you actually find a home, and the “deal goes live”. A pre-approval hence, is merely a rate hold.
3. FIND THE RIGHT PROPERTY
Once you have been pre-qualified, you can begin house shopping! It is important to have a professional by your side working in your corner. If you are in need of a Realtor, we would be happy to recommend a few for you to interview and choose from.
4. Approval process
You have found your ideal property you wish to buy. You have written an offer and it has been accepted! Congratulations! Now you must send all of the property related documents and information to us and we will complete your application and submit to the lender of your choice.
5. GETTING THE KEYS!
There are 2 important dates, the closing date and the possession date. By the closing date, your lender will have sent the required funds to your lawyer’s trust account and your lawyer will have communicated with the seller’s lawyer. All of the funds will have been transferred.
